Dazrul Sabardin, Head of Systems Optimisation and Simulation
Dazrul is a business analyst and electronic and electrical engineer (MEng). His expertise is in simulation and the development and implementation of models and processes to optimise systems.
His key skills include:
- System conceptual design
- System whole-life asset management
- Optimisation of major infrastructure projects
- Train simulation
Dazrul leads the ongoing improvements to the Systems Optimisation Process (SOpro) and the supporting engineering, whole-life cost benefit analysis and business case modelling and optimisation tools.
He has helped London Underground to optimise major infrastructure upgrade projects and reduce Capital expenditure, whilst improving customer benefits and revenue.
Dazrul is responsible for TrainSim, a train simulator specially designed to optimise energy and capacity. Dazrul is also experienced in multi-train simulators such as Mott MacDonald’s “TRAIN” and London Underground’s complex “Railway Engineering Simulator”.
