The bigger picture, the better way
An understanding of the bigger picture is at the heart of systems thinking and Cogitare’s working practice. We aim to ensure that, however large or small the problem, the solution influences the final outcome in the optimal manner (the idea of a cog within a mechanism influencing the movement of a bigger wheel).

Long-term relationships for long-term solutions
Cogitare believes in long-term relationships to help achieve positive change in the long term. Although maintaining the status quo is often easier in the short term, we believe that well thought-out, well-managed change actually facilitates operations in the long-term.

Where there is a difference of opinion Cogitare regards it as essential to determine the reasons behind the difference, to identify and resolve knowledge gaps and develop a consensus, to ensure a more successful, knowledgeable and durable solution.

When working for government organisations, Cogitare outputs are directed at maximising societal benefits relative to costs and affordability. When we work with the private sector, Cogitare outputs are based on the same principles but are focused on maximising long-term client profits.
